Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What part of the words 'chronic heavy metal poisoning' do you not understand? Dr. Maloney explains with today's environment and scientific research how some people are poisoned before birth, and gradually add to this body burden (arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury, and 19 other poisonous heavy metals) throughout their lives until sickness and disease states decide the outcome. Global warming is now a major concern; some global poisoning can mean long term suffering and an untimely death. Follow Dr. Maloney and his RN wife Mary along the road to better health, realizing the majority of U.S. health care providers are not trained in chronic heavy metal poisoning. Poisonous examples are widespread. -" Body Burden: The Pollution New Borns'" published in 2005 describes pollution in newborns contributed by their mothers with almost 300 chemicals identified with 180 possibly causing cancer in humans and animals, and over 200 can cause toxic birth defects and development problems. - Mercury in High Fructose Corn Syrup or "Fructose" now identified in 2009 by researchers detecting various levels of mercury in 17 out of 55 (1/3) commonly used food items. - Flint Michigan Water Problem of 2016: Lead leached from water pipes and insufficient treatment expose over 100,000 residents to increased lead levels. The problem remains unsolved officially as of January 2019. - An investigation reported many children poisoned by lead on U.S. army bases. Lead tainted housing and water contamination are identified at Fort Polk in Louisiana, Fort Riley in Kansas, and Fort Hood and Fort Bliss in Texas. Our soldiers fight and die on the battlefields of the world, leaving their love ones exposed to disease and disabilities at home. - Toxic heavy metals in baby food are more widespread than thought with a 2019 study pointing out about 95% of baby foods tested contained some toxic heavy metals, and about 25% contained all four poisonous heavy metals tested. If the EPA is busy working on our environmental problems, where is the FDA in following our food supply? Who is testing our bodies for chronicpoisonous/toxin contamination? What diseases are implicated in the poisonous process? Are medical personnel adequately trained to meet these challenges? These questions are answered by Dr. Maloney's presentation of fetal exposure to numerous poisons, childhood growth and development problems, and current disease states implicated in our tainted environment. Perhaps some global poisoning concerns should parallel global warming thoughts. - Dr. David W. Maloney, PharmD, RPh. (Lt. Colonel, Biomedical Sciences Corps, USAF, Ret.)
