And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth...'" (ESV). The healing ministry of Jesus exemplifies the authority we have over such afflictions. Matthew 10:1 (ESV) recounts, "And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction." This authority remains relevant for believers today, reminding us of the healing potential within us.The Role of Faith and BeliefCentral to exercising dominion is our faith and belief in God's promises.
