But after taking admission in B. Com, he began to feel that he is not much interested in studies. Thus, in the second year of B. Com, he dropped out of college so that he could utilize his time at the right things and at the right time. His focus was on learning about business as soon as possible, so that he could kick start his business and to learn more about business, he chose Mumbai. He immediately went to Mumbai and started working at a diamond company as a diamond tester. In the initial 2?3 years, he acquired expertise in this work and after that opened his own Diamond brokerage shop. Whatever business was established by Mr. Gautam Adani, none of them was inherited from his father or his family.
