Book excerpt: Silver Lake Adventure stories originated in my mother's mind when my two children were small. She would sit on the side of the kid's bed and tell these amazing stories. Ideas would just come to her mind and she would make up the story as she was telling it. Each night would bring a continuation from the story the night before and leave the children wanting to hear more, but she would tell them, "Tomorrow night." My mother made me promise I would do something with these stories when she was dying with cancer and so I have taken her created words and added an additional touch with my hand-painted illustrations. Children from all ages will continue to enjoy the Silver Lake Adventure stories as they collect each one.
