Mirta Meltzer was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied art and developed her work in paintings, printmaking and art- boxes. In 1996 she moved to the United Stated, where she currently lives and teaches art. She focuses her work around the creative development of children. Her art is displayed in private collections and in museums such as The National museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC and in the National Printmaking Museum in Buenos Aires.
