It takes data for many reactionssimultaneously with moderate resolution. Data has been taken for a variety of conditions with polarized and unpolarized beam and target. Preliminaryresults of the initial experiments run by the CLAS collaboration are shown. The connection with the study of N* resonances is emphasized.
