Book excerpt: The CP-violating decay mode K (sub L) meson decays to 2 neutral pions, has been studied in a spark-chamber experiment at the Princeton-Pennsylvania Accelerator. The transverse-momentum spectrum of gamma-rays observed in a spectrometer was used to separate K (sub L) meson decays to 2 neutral pions, events from the dominant K (sub L) meson decays to 3 pions events from the dominant K (sub L) meson decays to 3 pions decay modes, and these events were then reconstructed kinematically in the K sub L center of mass. Results are given. (Author).
