With the introduction of the consolidation of the trial courts, and the elimination of the office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Judicial Court, except for the Probate and Family Court Department, we found it extremely difficult to obtain current statistics on the operation of the courts, especially the trial courts. We hope that such statistical interpretations will be available so that in our next report we may be able to make appropriate comment in regard thereto.
