I would ask the children to describe what they were looking at.” A portion of the proceeds from the Daisy and Friends book series benefits three charities: Kitty Angels, a no-kill cat shelter in Coventry, Connecticut; Protectors of Animals, a no-kill animal shelter and rescue, and Bandit’s Place, Inc., a pet rescue and adoption center, both in East Hartford, Connecticut.
