Under dramatic circumstances involving a confrontation with a paedophile he escapes the country life and moves back to the city. He finds work at the local abattoirs a tough and uncompromising work place. Jobe is suddenly drawn into murder crime drugs and betrayal. A woman goes missing. A worker at the abattoirs is found with his throat cut. There is a man who likes young girls. Is there a connection? Then there is the attractive Irish woman that works in the abattoirs canteen that takes a shine to Jobe. Who is she really? Who is she watching? Does Jobe have a future or will his family and the people around him drag him down?
