Book excerpt: This thesis presents a measurement of the mass of the W boson using data collected during the 1992-93 collider run at the Fermilab Tevatron with the CDF detector. A fit to the transverse mass spectrum of a sample of 3268 $rm Wtomunu$ events from 19.7 $rm pbsp{-1}$ of data yields a mass of $Msbsp{W}{mu} = 80.310 pm 0.205$ (stat.) $pm$ 0.120 (syst.) $pm$ 0.050 (scale). This result is compared to previous measurements and current predictions.
