The articles in the Schedule of Duties, commencing page 75, are alphabet icall y arranged under the noun, the qualifying word following; and each article bears reference to the paragraphs of the Digest prescribing the rate of duty, which paragraphs are consecutively numbered. Those articles marked accord ing to material are classed under manufactures. Extracts from important Decisions of the Treasury Department are placed as foot-notes.
