Va. He was married to Elizabeth Smith (1780-1831) in 1800 in Rowan Co., N.C. Jacob Morgan, the immigrant, came from the British Isles to North Carolina in 1732/35. Descendants live in West Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey and elsewhere.
