Electron-positron collisions at the energy of the {Upsilon}(4S) resonance have produced about 240 million coherent B{sup 0}{bar B}{sup 0} and B{sup +}B{sup -} pairs, opening the doors for exploration of rare B meson decays. An overview of the electroweak penguin physics program of BABAR is given, the analysis of two specific decays is presented in detail.
