This book was released on 2008 with total page 14 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Late August 2008 a blue green algal bloom broke out at Warragamba Dam, Sydney and cyanobacterial toxins were detected in Wingecaribee water sources. Raw water samples have been continuously analyzed for presence of hepatotoxic peptide microcystin. The aim of this project is to quantify the amount of the 16S rRNA genes and mcyB genes from water samples using quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR).
